Elliott has extensive experience with enterprise clients in the areas of strategy deployment and execution, human capital strategy in support of enterprise-wide business initiatives and optimization of talent to drive business results. Elliott lives in Annapolis with his wife, they are proud parents to three sons and two daughters in-law.

Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Rutgers University; Master of Arts in instructional technology from Syracuse University and a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois. The discipline of writing a book forces you to find ways, with words, illustrations and stories, to capture the complexity of your consulting practice and translate it so that readers receive deep value. I have worked with one client, Microsoft, for two decades. My great challenge was to synthesize the lessons I learned about expertise and high performance and package them in a way that helped others improve their businesses and lives as individuals.

If you had not chosen consulting as a profession, what profession would you choose and why? Great question — probably an industrial engineer.
While I was fascinated with human learning during my academic career, that shifted to a passion for high performance and expertise. Much of my consulting has been focused on process improvement and increasing measurable business results in operations and sales. The skills required to be an industrial engineer would be a great background for the kind of work I have done with my clients.
My family and I have great memories from both locations and we totally decompress as soon as we step into either.
